Iyarman is the Founder and Managing Partner of Waruwu & Partners. Iyarman has served his clients for more than a decade. He specializes in corporate and commercial law, including foreign direct investment, cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures, general corporate, financing, hotel & tourism, healthcare, intellectual property, and commercial dispute resolution.
Before establishing his law firm, Iyarman worked at several leading corporate and commercial law firms in Jakarta, including worked for almost six years at a top tier commercial law firm associated with the international leading global law firm.
Besides running his firm, from June 2018 until May 2019, Iyarman also worked as a head legal department at a multinational company engaging in mobile gadget protection. By working as an in-house counsel, he replenished and polished his knowledge in both commercial and practical aspects.
Iyarman earned his Bachelor of Laws in Economic Law from the University of Indonesia. He is a member of the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI) and the Association of Indonesian Capital Market Legal Consultants (HKHPM). He holds an advocate license admitting him to practice throughout Indonesia and is also licensed as an Indonesian capital markets legal consultant.
In March 2021, Iyarman is listed as one of the 'Indonesia Rising Stars' by Asian Legal Business.
